Terms & Conditions FAQ

List of 12 frequently asked questions.

  • Enrollment

Enrollment for each school year is subject to the successful completion of the previous school year, and may be denied to any student at the discretion of the school.
  • Tuition

Tuition is due no later than one week before the commencement of classes, at the rate of full tuition published in the provided list of tuition and fees for each school year.
  • Additional Charges

In addition to the total tuition and fees, there may be additional charges for specific activities which are not listed and which Barstow Global Online may determine are in the best interest of the student. You shall be notified as soon as practicable as to these additional charges and agree to pay them. Any such charges shall be due within 15 days of notification.
  • Cancellation of Contract

You may cancel this Enrollment Contract upon written notice, either via regular mail to the Admissions Office at 11511 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64114 or email. Barstow Global Online depends on tuition to pay faculty, support technology and provide educational programs for your student. Therefore, the school asks parents/guardians to commit for the entire annual tuition by signing this contract. If cancellation is necessary for any reason, I agree to the following financial obligations:
    • Families who cancel their enrollment within two weeks (14 calendar days)  of the start of classes will be eligible for a refund equal to 50 percent of tuition.
    • Beginning at 15 days, if a student withdraws, either voluntarily or involuntarily, no portion of tuition paid will be refunded or canceled, reduced, or transferred to another child’s enrollment account in the event of absence, withdrawal or dismissal from the school. The retention of sums paid and the requirements to pay sums outstanding, if any, shall be deemed liquidated damages, it being impractical to fix actual damages at the time of making this contract.
  • Payment Dates

Your account becomes delinquent if payments are not paid by the due dates set forth in Sections 2 and 3 above. All tuition and fees and other charges not paid within 30 days of the due date are subject to a finance fee of 10% per annum. In addition to the interest due on past due amounts, accruing at the rate of 10% per annum, you will be required to pay all charges and fees permitted by law related to collection of past due amounts, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, up to 15% of the past due amount, incurred by Barstow Global Online. Failure to make payments by the due date may result in the removal of your student from Barstow Global Online and/or withholding student reports, transcripts, recommendations and diplomas until outstanding balances on your account are paid in full. Barstow Global Online reserves the right to refuse the admission of your student to classes until such time as your account is current. Further, Barstow Global Online reserves the right to cancel this enrollment contract if the student or family has any unpaid account with Barstow Global Online, including, but not limited to any loan/note under which you are bound as borrower/debtor.
  • Payment Agreement

I agree that, in the event of any failure or delay in the School’s performance under this contract resulting from causes beyond the School’s reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence—including but not limited to Acts of God, fire, pandemic, wars, and the like—the payment obligations under this contract shall continue and the School shall not be liable for any such failure or delay. In the case of such events, I understand that School schedules may be extended for a period of time, classes may be conducted by distance learning, and/or weekend classes may be scheduled at the School’s discretion. I acknowledge that this contract is not contingent on any particular program, curriculum, teacher/instructor, employee(s), or enrollment level, which I understand the School has the right to change at its discretion.
  • Policies, Rules and Regulations

I, for myself and on behalf of the student, agree to abide by all of the policies, rules, regulations and by-laws of Barstow Global Online, which may be modified by the school from time to time. I further understand and agree that Barstow Global Online is authorized and entitled, in its discretion, to suspend, dismiss or deny re-enrollment to any student for misconduct or unsatisfactory academic progress on the part of such student or for misconduct on the part of such student’s parent/guardian.
  • Nondiscrimination Policy

Barstow Global Online admits students of any race, religion, national or ethnic origin with all the rights, privileges, programs and activities accorded or made available to all students. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability or any other characteristic protected by the law in the administration of its educational and admission policies, financial aid policies, scholarship and loan programs or athletic and other school-administered programs.
  • Conflict Resolution

A positive working relationship between faculty and parents/guardians is crucial for a student's successful educational experience at Barstow Global Online. If such a relationship cannot be maintained due to unresolved conflicts or fundamental philosophical differences, the school reserves the right to request that the family withdraw from Barstow Global Online.

This Enrollment Contract shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to the conflict of law principles thereof.
  • Contract Modification

This enrollment contract represents the full and complete agreement between the school and the parent(s)/guardian(s) regarding the student’s enrollment at the school.
